Day Tripping: Santa Barbara
One of our favorite spots to day trip is Santa Barbara! It's the perfect size for a short day at the zoo. If you plan on going more than a few times a year, the membership is totally worth it! It gets you free entrance to the zoo plus free parking for under $100 a year! You honestly can't beat it. The zoo offers a ton of animal exhibits including everyone's favorites, gorillas, lions, giraffes, and elephants. Plus they have some awesome activities including feeding giraffes, watching the elephants paint or get a bath and even take a behind the scenes train ride!
